Trans Youth Support Group (18-24)

We are launching a weekly support group for trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive young adults (ages 18-24). This group is a space for members to build community with one another while sharing the joys and challenges of emerging adulthood.

Group Description

The transition to adulthood is challenging for any young person, but for trans and non-binary young adults, it comes with unique opportunities and specific challenges. This group is a communal space designed to offer support, connection, and shared wisdom. Together, through storytelling, resource-building, and fostering a network of care, we will create a supportive environment in which to celebrate these unique opportunities and compassionately hold space for specific challenges.

Sessions and topics are shaped by the needs of each cohort, and may include:

  • Identity and Intersectionality

  • Dating, Friendships, and Relational Dynamics

  • Adulting and Life Skills

  • Social and Medical Transition

  • School and Work

  • Social Media and Online Life

  • Building and Cultivating Community

Sessions rely on experiential learning through skill-building, individual reflection, and both small and large group discussions and activities to encourage growth, connection, and a deeper understanding of Self.
